Yard signs to help you signify your opposition to the proposed Walmart. Due to the overwhelming demand we are setting up distrubution stations around the neighborhood. Stop by one on these locations and get your sign! Â If you can afford it, we are asking for a 10.00 donation to cover the actual cost of printing and delivery and to help offset the cost for those on fixed incomes.

went to snooze this morning, and they didn’t know where the signs were.
Some signs are being stolen in Congress Park. We may want to bring them in closer to the house or tie them to a handrail.
Thanks for being out there today! Just made my paypal donation!
Has there been any discussion of class action lawsuits against both, Walmart and the developer? This strategy has worked well in San Francisco and Cambridge MA.

Got our signs yesterday; thank you! Just a note that the code enforcement people will yank and take signs in the hell strip (tree lawn).
I live at 3rd and Holly St, got my yard sign today. I can verify there is no burning need for low wage/no benefits jobs in Denver. Tax payer financed walmart? Have we all gone insane? I want the site to be developed by a socially responsible developer who will survey the neighborhood to find out what it is that we value most. I would like to see city council members and DURA reach out to potential developers and OFFER TIF financing and maybe other flexibilities to whomever is willing to develop the area into a unique, urban, socially responsible site. Let’s keep contacting our representatives, it’s out job to hold them accountable.
Bottom line: NO WALMART.
Made a donation a week ago; still waiting on our sign. 4639 E 17th…
Is there a suggested donation to receive a sign, and how long does it take to receive one? We are very interested.
$10 if you can afford it, or more –
we are getting caught up on deliveries, so perhaps over the weekend, ideally
Outstanding, I will go make a donation right now.
