It has been almost a month since the last round of the NCAA tournament was held, but the first Sweet 16 games will tip off on Thursday. This year’s March Madness tournament will feature some crazy scores, surprising teams and buzzer-beating players. Indiana is a big underdog, but they’re a fun team to bet on. They’re a talented team that can score. There’s a chance they could play well against UCLA. If that happens, it could be a very exciting matchup.
The Big East isn’t the best conference, but it has a good mix of blue bloods. It’s followed by the SEC and the Pac-12. Another team that is a surprise candidate is North Carolina. Although they weren’t the best in the Power 36 last year, they’re still likely to reach the Sweet 16.
Illinois didn’t make the Sweet 16 last year as a top seed. They’ve beaten Florida State, however, and should move closer to a return trip to the Final Four. With a lot of talent, they should be able to do just that this year.
USC is another school that has the ability to win ugly. They have a fantastic offense and an incredible defense. They might be a bit hamstrung by Kerr Kriisa’s injury. That’s why they need help from Jacksonville State.
