What can you do if you enjoy showers, but you feel like you’re not getting sufficient water pressure? This can be infuriating if it keeps up.

The Water Pressure May Be Due to Your Shower Head

Instead, you might be dealing with a low-flow shower head. If you get a new shower head and install it, you may be able to enjoy a more intense stream of water in very little time.
Look at High-Efficiency Shower Heads Online
The first thing you’ll want to do is to find some high-efficiency shower heads online. You can look on a site like Amazon and find many options with excellent reviews. Some of them don’t cost very much at all. You can also get one from a local Home Depot or Lowes if you don’t want to wait for the delivery.

Next, you can watch some videos on YouTube or another platform. You will quickly see that this type of home improvement is easy and quick. Virtually anyone can do it.
Switch Out the Shower Head
You are now ready to switch out your current low-flow shower head for a high-efficiency one. Usually, all you’ll need to do is unscrew the current shower head till it comes off in your hand. Remember to unscrew it in a counterclockwise motion. First, though, find the main water shutoff valve in your home and turn off the water.
Next, you can screw in the new shower head. If you want it to deliver even higher pressure, though, you can do that by removing the screen from inside of it. Many shower heads have a screen that regulates the intensity of the water that comes out. Removing the screen should give you the hard, steady spray you’ve been looking for.
Once you have screwed in the new shower head, carefully wrap some plumber’s tape around the connection between it and the stem. This will hopefully prevent any leaks. Now, you can turn the water back on at the main shutoff valve and turn on the shower.
Test out the shower and see if you get better water pressure now. If you don’t, you know there is something more complicated going on, and you’ll need a professional’s help.
